The brand new performance The Post Show Party Show of the British theatre maker Michael Pinchbeck is about structures of telling and uses a classic as a starting point. Together with his (touchingly willing) father and mother Pinchbeck recreates how his parents 'found' each other after an amateur production of the Sound of Music in which they both played a minor part. In a series of small scenes father and son remember. Past and present and themselves constantly shift roles, using a set of chairs that are representing characters, music notes or a mountain. It's an utmost subtle and humoristic juggle with language and concepts, performed by charismatic performers.Volksrant 28 April 2008
